Caliber 3 was founded in 2007 by Colonel Sharon Gat of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF),and has since become the leading academy for Counter Terrorism, Security & Defense in Israel. Today, Caliber 3 is run by active military personnel in the IDF, and offers professional security solutions; state-of-the-art defensive measures against threats; information intelligence; and tactical training for the military, law enforcement, government agencies, and commercial clients around the world.
The Gush Etzion Caliber 3 facility includes seven shooting ranges that can be custom configured for different types of training sessions or programs.
There are also two Krav Maga training rooms where security professionals and tourists come to train, an outdoor tactical training area where we run close- quarter battle simulations, and an outdoor facility for vehicle training.
A hot lunch is served every day in the Caliber 3 lunchroom; visitors who make a reservation are welcome to eat with our staff.
The Caliber 3 gift shop is located in the check-in area, and is stocked with shirts, hats, self-defense and tactical equipment, along with cold drinks and snacks.
Caliber 3 is approved by the Israel Ministry for Internal Security, Firearms Department to sell personal firearms to approved citizens and to provide initial firearm training and renewal testing. The Caliber 3 store has for sale new and second-hand guns, as well as gun ccessories and tactical accessories.
